The trick is that you need to know what carrier the recipient’s phone is on - it’s not enough to know their phone number. Most carriers have “SMS gateways” which take email messages from the Internet and deliver them to their customers’ cell phones as SMS text messages. This will fix all frame rate issues.By default no option is selected in CPU overclocking, which makes ePSXe run at full throttle or whatever you CPU/GPU fps can achieve. Put in a super low bar of an account's comments and posts only getting removed if their account was less than an hour old or they had less than 10 comment karma. It feels so great, I want to keep typing and typing and typing but this review has already gone on for too long. It's just the perfect amount of friction. It actually helps keep my fingers on the keys without any sliding motion. (I have six total Ducky boards here, but this is my first "One 2.") I don't know if it will wear off with time, but it feels great for now. There's an interesting texture on these keycaps that my previous Ducky boards lacked. (Regardless, always read the Ducky manual. If you're connecting it to a USB2.0 port, read the manual as the power settings need adjusted. Another difference is that the bottom of the new board is white, which creates a very simple and yet stylish aesthetic that the original Ducky One lacked. Black replacement keys come in the box, too, in case you prefer a solid black style keyboard. The new board, a "Ducky One 2 TKL RGB," comes with a pink colored enter, back, shift and arrow keys. I've moved it to my wife's computer where it'll last forever, I'm sure. The Ducky One TKL Blue was (and still is) pretty amazing. Upgraded from an original "Ducky One TKL Blue LED" (not RGB, only blue.) MX Cherry Brown switches on both. Ducky attempted to correct this with 3 LEDs underneath the space bar, sounds like a dead LED.ĭocking 2 stars for the keycaps as i have to buy an entire new set of key caps to really show this thing off. complaining about the half-lit space bar, I have the YOT pig on it as well and it is fully lit, but as that individual mentioned it is a little dim in certain spots. Gonna get another set of Razer PTB keys for this keyboard. I threw on some Razer PTB upgraded keys from another keyboard and they shine through better. LEDs are surprisingly dim this may be the reason why the key cap letters don't shine through well, coupled with the shotty double shot for the back light letters. Lighting in most of the lettering of keycaps are not even, meaning you can clearly see dim spots in parts of letters on the key caps, this can be seen in the product images, specifically the Home, button area or any keys thats have more than 1 character. Had scuffs on some keys right out of package expect to wait at least a month to get your keyboard. As long as you don't touch the Fn key, it's a regular keyboard. I am so happy that the Ducky keyboards don't have any features such as this. I can't tell you how many times I hit that accidentally while playing a VR game, only for my keyboard to be completely locked out. When I would accidentally hit this while playing a game, it completely disables your keyboard until you press the "end" key. My old keyboard was very similar in many ways, but it had the scroll lock and pause keys configured to do some sort of timer feature that I never used. My one nit with it is that certain things, such as the brightness, don't appear to work, or it doesn't do a good job of explaining where that is used. It's something you do once in a while and then forget about it. The fact that you can do all of that directly from the keyboard without software is great, but you'll never remember most of the commands. Configuring the keyboard per the manual is a little tricky. I'm only using the solid lit mode and it works great for that. The included software is simple and does the job of setting the basic LED colors. Again, this isn't important in the big picture, but worth mentioning. I've tried adjusting the color, but it just doesn't look white. One other complaint is that although I have mine set to white, and it has a very slight green/blue tint to it. Setting the keyboard to USB 3.0 Power Mode fixed the issue, and I have no issues with the brightness anymore. The LED lighting is a secondary feature, but it was hard to read some of the characters in a brightly lit room. My keyboard came set to USB 2.0 Power Mode, and I was initially disappointed by the lack of brightness, to the point of thinking of returning it. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. They are readable, but there are dark areas in some of the letters. Regarding the LED lighting: The PgDn, Pg Up, Home, Del, and Pause keys lettering is not consistently bright. My old keyboard used Cherry MX Blue switches also, but something about the build of this keyboard that just feels great. I just can't describe what it is exactly. I've been using mine for almost a week at this point, and I like it even more every time I use it. The keys feel great, both the feel of the keycaps and the key presses. Includes either Year of the Rat or Year of the Ox spacebars.Supports RAZER Chroma Broadcast, Ducky Macro 2.0, and Ducky’s newest RGB software.10 additional PBT Double Shot colorful keycaps (Random color).Primary: Black Double Shot PBT with Backlit (clear) legends. But this method is almost identical to what you already do - except you are recording the tweaks, rather than the audio. There are other ways to create and edit automation that you may find even more suitable. With synths and effects that are not native to FL you need to move the knob/slider etc that you wish to further edit, then in FL's main menu go Tools > Last tweaked > Edit events. You can do this with almost any knob or button that is part of FL itself (or an FL native effect, or synth). A window will open where you can further edit, by drawing the events (like peaks and valleys, which represent more and less, or on and off). You can further edit/refine what you recorded by right clicking the knob or button and then clicking "Edit events". Otherwise you can just add to what you did. It won't erase what you just did unless you move that same knob in the same place on the timeline. If you missed something out, or thought you could do it better, you can leave the record button on and press play again. You don't have to record all your knob tweaking in one hit either. You will hear all the tweaks you made and will also see the knobs, sliders and buttons you tweaked, moving as FL plays your track. Once the track is finished, turn off the record and press play again. All your knob tweaks will be recorded, including mute/on/off buttons. Choose the 3rd one "Automation and score". A box will pop up offering you 4 alternatives. You can do it in a number of ways, but the one I think you will want to try first is recording your tweaks on the fly. Have you tried recording automation in FL? It's very easy. It appears that proposal was not considered by the NSF for the Arecibo site. This would be less than half the diameter of the original Arecibo Telescope, but with more than a hundred receivers it would be far more sensitive. A group of astronomers have proposed building a site with 102 13-meter dishes to create a “next generation” Arecibo observatory, arranging them in a fixed circular array 130 meters across. Since the collapse, many called for the telescope to be rebuilt or for building an even better replacement telescope at the site. Damage at the Arecibo Observatory in August, 2020. In early 2020, earthquakes temporarily closing the observatory for safety reasons then a succession of cable failures ultimately led to the December 2020 collapse of the 900-ton instrument platform suspended above the observatory, which crashed down on the iconic telescope’s giant dish. Issues for the telescope began in 2017 when Hurricane Maria tore through Puerto Rico, shearing off one of the 29-meter (96-foot) antennas suspended above dish, with falling debris puncturing the dish in several places. The observatory has appeared in movies, television shows and more, and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places. In addition, the facility has also played an important role in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). The facility contributed to significant breakthroughs in astronomy and cosmology, including the discovery of the first binary pulsar, the first-millisecond pulsar, and the first exoplanets, along with helping to study asteroids and planets in the Solar System. It was used in three major areas of research: radio astronomy, atmospheric science, and radar astronomy. It was completed in 1963 and for over 50 years (until the China’s Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) was complete in 2016) it was the world’s largest single-aperture telescope. The Arecibo telescope was a 305 m (1,000 ft) spherical reflector radio telescope built into a natural sinkhole and located near Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Previously, before the telescope’s collapse, NSF contributed about $7.5 million annually to the operation of the site. According to a press release, NSF said the site “will serve as a catalyst for increased and inclusive engagement in a broad range of science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines, cutting-edge research and workforce development initiatives by students, teachers, researchers, local communities and the public within and outside of Puerto Rico.” It is scheduled to open in early 2024. NSF said they will invest over $5 million in the site over five years to create the Arecibo Center for Culturally Relevant and Inclusive Science Education, Computational Skills, and Community Engagement (Arecibo C3). A biomedical laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York along with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) and the University of the Sacred Heart, both in San Juan will oversee the new education center. Instead, the NSF announced this week they have chosen four institutions to transition the site from its historic hub of astronomical research to a STEM educational outreach center, with a seeming focus on biology. Even though the National Science Foundation announced last year that it would not rebuild or replace the iconic Arecibo radio dish in Puerto Rico - which collapsed in 2020 – a glimmer of hope remained among supporters that the remaining astronomy infrastructure would be utilized in some way. A low ratio may also indicate ineffective payment collection policies and that clients may not be reliable, as they do not clear their debts on time. This also suggests that the company has a trustworthy and consistent client base.Ī low receivable turnover ratio is usually unfavourable, as it implies that the company is inefficient in collecting its outstanding receivables. A higher ratio signifies that the company or business collects the accounts receivable consistently and accumulates cash periodically against existing obligations. Similarly, the company collects its receivables four times a year if the ratio is four. For example, if a company's receivable turnover ratio is two, it implies that the company collects its outstanding amount twice in the year. Related: Revenue Accounts: With Definition, Types And Examples What Is The Meaning Of A High Accounts Receivable Turnover Ratio?Ī high receivable turnover ratio simply means that a company can collect its outstanding cash in the accounts receivable more times. Here is the formula to calculate this value:Īverage accounts receivable = (Beginning accounts receivable balance + ending accounts receivable balance) / 2 In that case, you can add the company's receivables at the beginning of the quarter and the end of the quarter and then divide the sum by two. For example, suppose you want to calculate the average accounts receivable of a company for a quarter. The average accounts receivable is the sum of a company's starting and ending accounts receivable figure in a selected period, divided by two. Related: What Is A Liquidity Ratio? In this formula, there are two main elements, including: Net credit sales The formula for the receivable turnover ratio is:Īccounts receivable turnover ratio = Net credit sales / Average accounts receivable Related: What Is Working Capital Management? (Importance And Ratios) Accounts Receivable Turnover Ratio Formula Companies that offer credit services or products for which the customers can pay later may use longer durations to calculate their receivable turnover ratio. It is essential to note that companies may collect the outstanding accounts receivable at different times. Besides helping compare how well different companies manage their clients and finances, this ratio can help businesses understand their competition, improve internal collection or renewal processes and enable investors to identify potential investment opportunities. The receivable turnover ratio is suitable for assessing a company's effectiveness in managing its line of credit and outstanding balance. To use the revenue companies generate from credit purchases, they collect accounts receivables at regular intervals. If you are an accountant, senior business leader or investor, knowing this value can help you determine the financial health of the company and provide other unique insights. One such approach is to assess how often a business collects its average receivables during a period. Many financial models and metrics measure business performance using specialised tools, formulas and equations. In darkness the resting pupil size showed a MZ intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.85, almost double that of DZ (0.44), suggesting strong additive genetic effects, with the most parsimonious model estimating a heritability of 86% with 14% (95% CI 10–21%) explained by unique environmental factors. Pupil size and PLR were not associated with iris colour, intraocular pressure or refractive error, but were associated with age (diameter β = −0.02, p = 0.016, constriction amplitude β = −0.01, p < 0.001, velocity β = 0.03, p < 0.001, and latency β = 0.98, p < 0.001). Pupil light reaction (PLR) had a mean (SD) amplitude of 1.38 mm (0.27) and latency of 250.34 milliseconds (28.58). Results: Mean (SD) pupil diameter in darkness was 5.29 mm (0.81), decreasing to 3.24 mm (0.57) in bright light. Maximum-likelihood structural equation models estimated the proportion of trait variance attributable to genetic factors. Methods: Pupillometry was performed on 326 female twins (mean age 64 years) from the TwinsUK Adult Twin Registry, assessing resting pupil diameter in darkness and increasing levels of ambient light, alongside dynamic pupillary characteristics. Purpose: A classic twin study to evaluate the relative contributions of genetic and environmental factors to resting pupil size and reactivity. 3Department of Neuro-Ophthalmology, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London, United Kingdom.2Department of Ophthalmology and Epidemiology, University Medical Centre Groningen, University of Groningen, Groningen, Netherlands.1Section of Academic Ophthalmology, School of Life Course Sciences, Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, King's College London, London, United Kingdom.Abdus Samad Ansari 1 Jelle Vehof 1,2 Christopher J. |
